Camera surveillance
This heading includes traditional camera surveillance at Aimo Park's facilities, as well as automatic license plate reading. For information about Aimo Park's use of body-worn cameras, see the Privacy Policy for body cameras here.
We carry out camera surveillance to prevent theft and vandalism, prevent and deter violence, and offer optimal service and support operational routines.
Camera surveillance can also be used at certain parking facilities in the form of a simplified payment solution (so-called “Automatic Number Plate Recognition” (ANPR) where cameras read license plates. Data processed during camera surveillance are license plate numbers and other image recordings that can be attributed to a natural person.
We store data from camera surveillance for up to two months unless, in exceptional cases, we have to store the data longer to safeguard our legal interests. This may be the case, for example, when a crime has been committed and the material is needed for an investigation by the police/prosecutor.
Special procedure for accessing camera images:
Camera images are personal data that we are recipients of and which we protect with extra caution. Material from camera surveillance is subject to confidentiality and is protected by established procedures against unauthorized access or unauthorized use.
We may disclose the material to law enforcement authorities or other authorities if required by law or to safeguard our legal interests, such as when handling insurance cases. If you would like to see camera images, please complete a request for access to camera images form. We will ask you a number of questions regarding the information shown in the images and what the registered individual looks like. The reason for this is that there may be several people shown in the images and this allows us to anonymize the individuals.
Specifically about body cameras
In some areas, Aimo Park parking attendants use body-worn cameras. For more information about this personal data processing, please see the Body Camera Privacy Policy here.
